zurrieq Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 The relay just arrived. I was wondering if I need to use resistors to wire and if I need to use Tamper at all? My first attempt is the following: I am connecting C and NC directly to the A terminals. Is this correct please? Thanks

Or better still wire as if EOL (like the sensor) then program the wiring configuration as normally closed.

Do I need to use resistors for that? On a side note, when you add new zones to the panel, do you switch everything off?
Adi Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 its best to leave the light on, or you might not see what your doing No. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
zurrieq Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 . Yes that is correct, you will only need one pole of the relay. In amendment to my post above..... Remote output 1 makes one high pitch beep for on and one low pitched beep for off. Remote output 2 makes two high pitch beeps for on and two low pitched beeps for off. Can confirm the beeps indicated above. Alarm/Dialler up and running ... next is the garage door

Yes I do mean yellow wire in tamper, if you program as normally closed this is correct and no resistors are required. No don't switch everything off when adding zones. Did you get everything sorted?
