MrHappy Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 call me old fashioned, but in hind sight would it have been less grief for all parties just to appoint an alarm co. in the 1st place? Mr Veritas God
Couger Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 here here what area you in TSV, I would advise getting a decent alarm co in even if the electrician sorts the tamper he may get other things wrong in the programming that could put your property at risk.
petrolhead Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 sounds like its been wired with a global tamper instead of eol and theres a tamper fault somewhere possibly? Not a good way to wire when it comes to faultfinding.
MrHappy Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 sounds like its been wired with a global tamper instead of eol and theres a tamper fault somewhere possibly? Not a good way to wire when it comes to faultfinding. Maybe, but the zone should show secure? Mr Veritas God
breff Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I guarantee you its a 24, the sparky has wired it double pole with a global tamper and all the zones are programmed as EOL, therefore all zones show either oc tamper or sc tamper The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

9651 Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Its OK cos the sparky saved me £100, so that = better, right?
Adi Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 but then costs a grand when the house is emptied in peace and quiet I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
