ACeK Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Hi all, I try connect a Dennard 2050 camera to my PC computer throw RS485 to RS232 converter. But I don't know what protocol is use for that camera (PTZ). I try use keyboard (Uniplex Series2) but the keyboard only sent all times 16 32 0 16 0 192 58 (10 20 00 10 00 C0 3A). I setup at COM1 9600 8 N 1. Can anyone give some advice pls.

Last week we had to install a BBV star drive to support the dennard domes and they were the early versions even the first ones out. It depends on the dome version you have. mma Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 BBV or dennard only. I had the same problem with a dvr that could only do pelco. Got round it with a BBV converter that changed pelco to BBV coax. That worked really well but cost a fair bit.
