Dennard 2050 On Rs485 (Twisted Wire) Form Pc

:) Hi all,

I try connect a Dennard 2050 camera to my PC computer throw RS485 to RS232 converter. But I don't know what protocol is use for that camera (PTZ). I try use keyboard (Uniplex Series2) but the keyboard only sent all times 16 32 0 16 0 192 58 (10 20 00 10 00 C0 3A). I setup at COM1 9600 8 N 1. Can anyone give some advice pls. :-|

It depends on the dome version you have.

Last week we had to install a BBV star drive to support the dennard domes and they were the early versions even the first ones out.

I tryed to upload a Dennard PTZ driver that we uploaded into an Axis Q7404 video server a few weeks ago, but it wont let me upload it.

It depends on the dome version you have.

Last week we had to install a BBV star drive to support the dennard domes and they were the early versions even the first ones out.

Also depends if using a DRX or RX etc.

BBV or dennard only. I had the same problem with a dvr that could only do pelco. Got round it with a BBV converter that changed pelco to BBV coax. That worked really well but cost a fair bit.
