Does anyone know the engineer code or know how to do this or have an engineers manual?? As far as I know you can only change like for like without having to use a laptop and the software.
Alexjames79 Posted March 29, 2011 Author Posted March 29, 2011 Hi i was advised by nittan that this could be done but engineer code was required then you change the device type for the particular one that's being replaced. Not sure how accurate this is.

unimatrix1066 Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 you can change devices on the panel but will need the high level code as this procedure will bring up service inspection. if you restart the panel with the write protect switch off it will re log the loops with devices that are present however you must make sure the system is fault free as you can loose devices that are missing/faulty there are loads of engineers codes, ideally if someone was a protec engineer past or present they might have the code on this forum. try fire engineers forum
