zs123 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Hi anyone know of a mobile app for android or general web access on a mobile that enables viewing of dedicated micros d4 dvr? The standard webviewr software does not work via mobile and i was looking for a solution to view both over LAN and remote via internet.
sixwheeledbeast Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Type in the IP address of DVR in a web browser. Select "Web Viewer" instead of "PC viewer" Enter the machines username and password.

Hi thanks for response, sorry should have said I already tried that, but I get the message 'netscape 6 and above not supported' that is on HTC web browser. Any further ideas that may work? Can I upgrade it some how to handle Netscape
zs123 Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 done a bit of searching and apparently it is down to the lack of Active X support in any broswer other than IE, which obviously isn't on android. Anyone know a work around on this?

Anyone know a work around on this? I hate DVR's that require IE/Active X, they shouldn't expect everyone to use IE. Don't think there's a work round. There's DM apps but only support NetVu stuff not the D4.
Driller Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Anyone know a work around on this? I use a Slingbox Solo to view my cameras with my phone on my DVR which also requires ActiveX. You can even program custom IR commands now so can control anything you like on your DVR from your phone. www. Slingbox. Com
