Commercial Panels

Hi All,

I was hoping you could help.

Currently we install Honeywell Panels in domestic properties and do not do much commercial work. We have been asked by a small clothing shop to install an alarm for them. The layout is a shop floor with two small offices at the rear, one has a door and the other has a window.

What panel would you suggest using for this shop? It will have 2 door contacts and 2 PIRs.

Thanks

We use Galaxy for all commercial applications and scan 9651 for domestics ( or visonic powermax if the wiring is too much of an issue). If a domestic requires anything more than a speech dialler for monitoring, we'll default to Galaxy. cheers.

If you fit currently fit the Accenta range, why not stick with the Metal Gen4 Accenta. Programming will be straight forward (except zone descriptions?) and it has outputs for diallers etc. The Honeywell Galaxy is a bit of a beast for the un-initiated...(I speak from experience)

Just an Idea?

I understand none of the accenta's are EN graded, I would advise either your self or the store to check if the insurance have any requirements for the system

They need a grade 2 system - Galaxy G2-12?

How about the Scantronic EN9751 or Texecom Premier 24?

Do you think one is better than the other in terms of installing and configuring?

Thanks

Kinda a little more to it than choosing the just the kit,

RA,

Spec,

Hand over docs,

Cert

Log book

& then the sytem should be installed with the requirements of 6662 /50131

personally my panel would prem 48, iwise powered detection & suitable g2 contacts with a digi or dualcom.
