OakAlarms Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Hi all, I am facing serious problem. I am looking for NSI accreditation. I did all paperwork (screening, BOM, insurance etc). Now I am waiting for site inspections, but the problem is with number of sites. Customers don't want non NSI company to install alarm and without 8-10 inspected installations I will not be accredited. This is a Catch 22. I lost about 7 potential jobs this year only because of not being member of NSI. How other Installers bypass this problem? Can I get any help from other installers? Thanks Oak Alarms
Adi Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 install some domestics, bells only or let an nsi firm take them over. reckon you'd get away with less installs. Ive rarely found it a problem not being acredited I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
mma Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I was SSAIB and hadn't installed 10 and was accepted. As long as you have at least 5 I would have thought it would be ok.
alterEGO Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 http://www.oakalarms.co.uk/ < is that you? if so it looks like you are already NSI approved ( lol )
