shieldssecurity Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Hi All, I've got a customer who wants a completely wireless alarm including the bell. she needs: 1 Door contact, 3 D/T and a decent panel with 5 keyfobs. I want to quote her for a really decent one as I don't want any headaches and neither does she. Can anyone recommend a decent set up that will be easy for an old girl to use. Thanks "25 years of experience has taught us to care about the smaller jobs and given us the expertise to succeed in the larger ones"
itesecurity Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Pyronix/Castle Enforcer is decent kit but they dont do the dualtechs (yet). We were using Visonic but they are a bit DIYish, having said that weve never had problems with their gear either (except for 1 faulty battery in a PIR). Texecom Richochet is top gear and the best you can get but you dont get a wireless bell. I'd go for the Pyronix/Castle. Top kit.
breff Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Scantronic Ion The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
macwillis Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 the scantronic ion, doesnt have a wireless bell ( correct me if im wrong) as stated above i would go for a enforcer. where are the d/t's going to be places. you might get away with the standard pir on double knock. the enforcer has 2 wired inputs aswell if thats any help. top notch panel, well i like them anyways -Willis-
breff Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 http://www.coopersecurity.co.uk/products/productsindex.aspx?intProductID=283&intProductCategoryID=40 It does, no dualtecs yet though. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)
Adi Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 ive only seen the enforcer on the web, brouchers ect... but reckon it looks awful. I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.
Alarm Protection Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Scanny I-On or Risco Agility. We normally use the I-ON for total wireless. !
miaren Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Had the tech / rep from Pyronix visit recently.. The Enforcer seems to be a good bit of kit, and I like the facility of checking signal range from the sensor - not just at the panel. DT's are available. Enforcer Tech Sheet 2010.pdf (will be migrating over shortly)
Hennessy-Security Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Id fully recomend the enforcer kit, much more professional than the visonic, same price and uses SMS texting for 4 contacts if required. Hennessy Fire & Security - Specialising in home defence systems
