As it's internet radio, ofcom guidelines need not apply  Does that mean we'll be phoning Andrew Sachs live on air? dazoman1 Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I know im bumping a old topic but just wanted to confirm does nsi shy on staples ? ive never used them but no one really gives you the answer wanted to use them is it allowed ? Quote
norman Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Providing they are used in the correct fabric then yes, nothing wrong with them imo used carefully. Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
RDS Security Systems Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Company I used to work for allowed use of staples if running 1 cable. Any more required trunking etc... Quote
al-yeti Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I experimented on some cat5 stapled on bench perfect every time , soon realised cat5 isn't like 8core doesn't keep its shape aswell , clipped it in the end Also if wood is very soft staples don't hold very well depends on type of wood aswell Is there an adjustable gun? Ie Staple sizes Quote
norman Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Nothing wrong or non-compliant with staples, used correctly and into a suitable medium. (wood) Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
