AliDootson Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Hi. Hope you can help. We had a power cut, alarm seems dead, so the lights on the keypad panel went out. Is there any way I can re-energise my system? I assume it's a fuse in the keypad - but how do I get to it? Will I set the alarm off if I start trying to open the keypad panel? I notice there's a little screw on the side, unscrewed it, nothing happened... Any suggestions for me? Alarm Novice Ali
james.wilson Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 It may have just crashed. When was it last serviced? Id suggest the battery has failed in the panel. This needs to be replaced at least every 5 years. YOu may try disconnectng the battery, removing the power and putting it back on to see if it jumps back to life. But if the battery is dead then do not reconnect it. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
