alterEGO Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Excuse me whilst I wash my eyes out.. they are not that bad, we used them for years. The Prem or Gal is alot better though.
Scotmod Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Gardtec's probably the best low-mid end panel for wireless. Have fitted pallets of the things and our failure rate is pretty low. Back end support from Risco is top notch too.
frosty Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 Thanks for all your help guys, i have settled on the Texecom Premier 24 after your recomendations. As for the PIR, i was thinking of using the Texecom Prestige Compact IR and wanted to know any views you may have on these. I chose them first for the name, following recomendations, but then the size of the compact make's it very un-obtrusive. Is there any down side to the unit?
sixwheeledbeast Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Definitely worth paying the bit extra for Quads.
bm_99 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Nobody here liking the scantronics? either 96 or 9751's
norman Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 no Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
9651 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Flol, we fit the 96 on the bells only domestics, they are fine for what they are, but a Premier is much better panel.
bm_99 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 no lol any reason why find the 9651's to be 1 of the best budget panels tbh, obviously only for the small domestic
frosty Posted January 1, 2012 Author Posted January 1, 2012 I'd go for the quads less prone to FA Are the Compact Quads OK ? (Texecom Prestige 15m range Compact QD Quad Pyro Element PIR)
