MrHappy Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 ........and the Veritas is a shed which we choose as low end product over the 9453, 700l & anything pyronix..... Mr Veritas God
james.wilson Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 bottom end panels have their place. Some people dont like the accenta's etc I think they are a cracking panel for that market. Still have hundreds of optima's and 700l's out there that are 100% In a shed and i was diy etc id go for an optima or vertias with onboard keypad securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

itesecurity Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 If it's low end then the Castle Euro Mini would be my panel of choice. Metal endstation, a doddle to program, excellent diagnostics, programmable outputs . 10 zones which 4 of can be used as outputs. We used to install the Veritas, simple and reliable panel but hated the odd EOL resisitor ratings on the R8+ and Excel. Limited to the prestige compact pir's, anything else and you had to put the resistors in. Would still install the odd Veritas 8 if we needed something with onboard RKP. Point taken about it being DIY and in a shed.
james.wilson Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Its a slight issue. Quoted grade 2x couple of days ago. Indian restaurant, alarm broke init there is a keyswitch panel in, all kit needs replacing. Seems daft to but the endstation and the keypad adjacent. But who makes a 2x panel with onboard? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
fozzies Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 alarm broke init You've been hanging around with youths too much!
norman Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I don't think that was his youth impression.... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
