Sausage Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Hi all, yes I am a noob ... ;o) I had a monitored alarm proffessionally fitted (cd34 with RD6203 dialler) some ten years ago, a few years back I cut the subscription to the alarm company, they said and keep saying they will pop round to return the alarm to independent use (or something like that), the alarm activation then needing to call the supplier for reset codes is now getting on my wick big time ! The alarm company still have not been round to sort so started looking into doing this myself :oO ... So have disconnected the dialler and been in the engineers menu's (yes I have the codes for engineer and digi obtained from a drunken installer one night of which name and company shall remain anon ...) the system now sees there is no dialler installed but I still have an activation in need of resetting ? How can I stop the "call alarm company" message from showing so I can rearm the system ? Thanks in advance for help ;o) Quote
james.wilson Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I dont know the panel, but you need to remove the engineer reset or remote reset attribute. However i would say its very good of any company to visit you for free to do this for you. datadiffusion Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 Unfortunately the OP has moved 4 times and had 3 different systems since 2012, but I'm sure they noted it down in their diary. Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
sixwheeledbeast Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 "Call Alarm Company" is a hint? Installer would need to do this. Quote
