Infinite Prime Partial Arm Setup Problem

Hello All,

I have fitted an Infinite Prime Wireless alarm system to a friends house. All went well but I am struggling to work out how to program the Partial Alarm setup.

In Partial Alarm I need to be able to allow the user to come downstairs from their bedrooms, walk cross an armed living room and hall (both PIR's) to the control panel.

In Full Alarm use these living room and hall PIR's are set to alarm immediately but for Partial Alarm I want them to be an Entry/Exit zone and a Follower zone respectively.

I can't seem to figure out how to program the PIR's/Controller to act differently in Full and Partial arm modes....

In previous alarm installs (different manufacturers/own homes), you can programmed the sensors for each arm mode. With the Infinity Prime, you can set the sensors to be included or excluded from a full or partial arm but, it appears, not then to vary their alarm type (ie entry/exit or immediate)

Is it really obvious and I'm just reading the manual wrong for the 10th time ???

Any help from anyone that has installed this alarm will be greatly appreciated as its driving me bonkers looking at it for so long now mad.gif

Danny

(PS I'm not a professional installer, just an Electronics Eng that has fitted my own alarms in various properties, or for good friends over the years)

Good luck with that. Sorry I can't really help and I don't think there will be many here that are familiar with the Infinite. I installed one a long time ago and vowed never to again, total rubbish and a horrible menu structure. If I remember correctly it was the same sort of set up you are talking about and it should be (like with all panels) possible.

Keep studying the manual, i'm sure it's in there.
