James2206 Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Hi i have a Veritas excel with 8 zones Zone 1 - M/C Zone 2 - PIR Zone 3 - PIR Zone 4 - PIR Zone 5 - PIR Zone 6 - PIR Zone 7 - PIR Zone 8 - PIR The problem i have is that i have power to Zones 1 and 2 but nothing else works so i can not do a full set i can only do a part set can any help me please? James2206 Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 sorry i dont have power at the door contact my bad, we have moved in and it was already, here we have managed to get the codes and rest the system etc but we can not seem to get the Zones 3 - 8 to work could this be because of wiring issue if so why is the zones 1 and 2 working i have checked all the fuses seem to be all good. also the landlord had come in and turned off the main and discounted the battery as the perivous tenarnts didnt leave the codes

James2206 Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 we have the lighs come on at zone 2 but no other (zone 3-8)so i am guessing that there is no power but i have power in zone 2 shouldnt i have power in the others
james.wilson Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 You should have power yes. Someone could of cut a cable it could be anything. You will need to find out why you have no power. Rulland Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 When you say 'lights' do you mean on the detectors or on the keypad?,yes I know you said it was an excel-but just checking cos it could be an led rkp as opposed to LCD.
