Andrei Souchinski Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Hello! The alarm that we have inherited comes up with a +BAT MIS 0001 error code, which won't let us set the alarm. All worked fine for the last 3 years, I've recently replaced the batteries on each of the 4 wireless points after one of them had died. The info I've managed to get on this is as follows: --- CPO38 Honeywell Grade 3 Class II -- Galaxy 2-12 Version 1.44 -- ADT ED8 - 7300 PC+ABSFR Hope someone could tell me what the error code means (tried googling without luck)... I've seen some posts refer to the 12V battery, which I assume is the block on the wall opposite the keypad, could it be that it is on its way? Many Thanks! Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 Main Control Panel Battery is probably faulty. Quote
Garry500 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hello - my alarm started showing the same error message. Can you please let me know what battery I need for this, and whether it's a simple job (or requires a technican to perform). I'm no longer monitored by ADT, and have a reasonable level of DIY/electrical skill! thanks! Quote
miaren Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 If youve got the engineer code, then your in luck. If not - best to call someone in. Quote

SteveO99 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Wonder if any one has any other suggestions, as I’ve replaced the main 12v battery in the control panel with a brand new one today and the error message will not clear down on exiting engineering mode Quote
sixwheeledbeast Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Have you checked the voltage and charging rate with a meter during replacement? Quote
SteveO99 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 Voltage with my meter indicated 12.78 volts and 385ma Quote
SteveO99 Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 (edited) Voltage with my meter indicated 12.78 volts and 385ma, really strange went to set the alarm this evening - stuck in engineer mode due to error message of +batt missing 0001 has cleared by itself. So took alarm out of Engineer mode and it reset with no tamper errors or batt errors and reported 6 modules before and after and all ok. So don’t know what has happened between this morning and this evening but it seems ok. So let’s hope all is well. And big thanks for the swift reply earlier Edited October 23, 2020 by SteveO99 Quote
