FruTBunn Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Hello, I have a Menvier TS900 and I want to alter the wiring on the digicom outputs. Obviously I don't want power going to the control panel when I do this. What is the correct way isolate the panel from the power, without the alarm bell sounding? I have tried disconnecting from the A/C and removing the battery, but the sounder still sounds. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
fozzies Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 I cant see it would be professional to tell you that, or we would be telling a burglar how to do it too. Either put up with it, or call an engineer in
Alarm Protection Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Why are you wanting to change the digi outputs? As fozzies says, you require an engineer visit. !
PeterJames Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Good answers well done chaps Frutbun this is a Security forum there's a clue in the name, you need the burglar forum, sorry I dont know the the URL but I am sure if you google "how to get round burglar alarms" youll find it
FruTBunn Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Thanks for the replies. I have to admit I completely over-looked the obvious fact that the information would be useful to nefarious people. I was thinking of the panel as just a bit of electronics - I shouldn't have asked. Sorry!
Rulland Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Well, it actually makes a refreshing change for the OP to see it from a logical POV and saying so rather than slagging us intruder specialists off for not divulging sensitive information, well done mate.
