digitalwitness Posted July 6, 2012 Share Posted July 6, 2012 I might be missing something but this seems over complicated to show the VGA output from a laptop on a screen. Would a "picture in picture" monitor work for your intended purpose, one showing laptop screen and the other showing the spot output of the DVR? All you would need is the VGA to Cat5 converters suggested and the monitor ofcourse. Assuming that a dedicated screen is not wanted for some reason.
