Thanks for joining

From what i have read, the only mistake DPR has made is to place a logo on their website before first gaining the approval from SSAIB, which they have since obtained, albeit verbally.

just for clarification,

DPR Secure is also a member of The Security Systems

and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), which confirms our

professionalism and provides complete peace of mind

and confidence to all our domestic security customers.

The SSAIB are very strict on the correct running of a

security company and constantly vet our staff, work

tasks and premises to ensure the customer receives a first

class service

All of DPR Secure’s work complies with the relevant British

or European Standards for intruder alarm systems and we

are regularly inspected by the SSAIB (Security Systems

& Alarms Inspection Board). We

work to stringent quality control

procedures which ensure complete

peace of mind and confidence to all our

commercial security customers

where the claims made in their on-line brochure, I'd image is there quite a fine line between "mistake" & false advertising ?

A claim of holding a "trustmark" was also made, has anyone explained why DPR Ltd; also appear to be absent from that list too ?

Clearly there are an awful lot of people and businesses out there feeling threatened to evoke such an emotional response.....or rather to engage in petty squabble. From what i have read, the only mistake DPR has made is to place a logo on their website before first gaining the approval from SSAIB, which they have since obtained, albeit verbally.

They made a small mistake. Quote me a new business that hasn't. I'm just glad some of the bloggers aren't heading up Business Link, or the department for innovation, otherwise any entrepreneurial flair would be instantly quashed at the first sight of a business trying to push the boundaries in order to find a foothold in the marketplace.

Focus on your own business, and switch the news on from time to time to reflect on other places on the planet, like Syria, where you have to queue for five hours to get a loaf of bread and a bottle of water.

It's tough for all of us out there at the moment, but trying to ruin another business is not the answer. Let them learn from their lesson and move on.

Good luck to Team GB.

Just a logo???

What about their website spouting complete bollox?

Their sold called explanations on here - more bollox

What about their roofing company and it's so called claims?

now, lets consider Gas Safe shall we - yep, more lies and bollox on their part.

So far, NFRC, Constructionline, SSAIB, Gas Safe and NICEIC

Have all magically disappeared.

Seems someone's been busy fending off irate phone calls and likely threats of legal action.

Not bad for a simple error with a logo.

Constructionline won't feck about like SSAIB.

I think Gas Safe might be the one to trouble them most.

Serious legal implications there.

Northern The point that you do not appear to get is, those that have the badges have worked hard and paid hard earned money on training and H&S and much more. DPR have not just taken the logos they have also lied on their website deliberately misleading people into thinking that they too have earnt those badges. Then to ad insult to injury DPR tries to infer that we are just attacking them because we are jealous how would you expect us to react?

Same principles apply to those not accredited too Pete. Being accredited is not necessarily worthwhile - depends on work done type etc.

High standards, compliance etc.

Like you say, all to no avail when some bunch of lying, scheming chancers behave like they have done.

Further clarification

DPR has been in further contact with SSAIB and has clarified its understanding of the SSAIB rules concerning the use of logos. Our understanding was that because we always use SSAIB sub-contractors where a URN system is required, we could emphasize this by the inclusion of the SSAIB logo.

We now understand that this is not the case and the logo will be removed as soon as our web designer can do this.

...

The content of this posting has been discussed and agreed with SSAIB.

In light of this I feel the current topic title is incorrect.

Can this please be updated, thank you.
