I was going to put www, but guessed some on here would struggle with that acronym.

Maybe they will, seeing as its an Initialism and not an acronnym.

Further clarification

DPR has been in further contact with SSAIB and has clarified its understanding of the SSAIB rules concerning the use of logos. Our understanding was that because we always use SSAIB sub-contractors where a URN system is required, we could emphasize this by the inclusion of the SSAIB logo.

We now understand that this is not the case and the logo will be removed as soon as our web designer can do this.

For the avoidance of doubt, SSAIB has confirmed that a written reference to our use of SSAIB-registered sub-contractors for URN work is permitted and may remain.

It remains our intention to achieve SSAIB certification in the near future for all of our Security Systems work.

The content of this posting has been discussed and agreed with SSAIB.

Hang on, did we image this?

DPR Secure is also a member of The Security Systems

and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB), which confirms our

professionalism and provides complete peace of mind

and confidence to all our domestic security customers.

The SSAIB are very strict on the correct running of a

security company and constantly vet our staff, work

tasks and premises to ensure the customer receives a first

class service

All of DPR Secure’s work complies with the relevant British

or European Standards for intruder alarm systems and we

are regularly inspected by the SSAIB (Security Systems

& Alarms Inspection Board). We

work to stringent quality control

procedures which ensure complete

peace of mind and confidence to all our

commercial security customers

Well im sure all you approved installers on these pages will be delighted about the inspectorates written letter to a builder, roofer, lettting agent, whatever! The SSAIB should now avail themselves of the rules for POLICE URN. This (if true) is becoming a total farce where jack anyone can sub a job and get them to get a URN on their behalf. Maybe another call to your favourite friendly inspectorate should be made. After all its your livelyhood and hard graft thats being undermined here.

This company is undoubtedly a rougue trader and all im begining to see is that a bit of cash and the inspectorate may forgive them the fact they take the Pss

time will tell, however it will be very interesting to see what the long term effects of the other absent approvals exposed by TSI posters have regarding DPR is any of the bodies going to do anything to protect their trademarks ?
