Scotmod Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 From this I am guessing the OP doesn't have a test monitor handy. Then I suggest the OP stops trying to save pennies and get out the engineer. However since his nice blue box is over the DVR info I would agree with James and say it's a monitor issue. Is it a BNC or VGA connection? Swap it with another VGA monitor if that's the case and see what happens
houstonsecurity Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 The Illustra range of network video cameras from American Dynamics are compatible with the HDVR hybrid DVR (version 1.5 firmware). The range includes “box type” cameras, Bullet cameras, internal and external mini-domes.

satsuma01 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 it would be helpful from the op if they could give us the name of the monitor, as after also rotating the picture and looking myself id go with james and say a pip button on the monitor itself has been pressed, knowing the name of the monitor and doing a google search would allow us to search for the manual online and tell op which button causes pip on the screen.
