SoupDragon Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Should I be using 6 core to wire everything up with EOL? Or do I use 4 core for door contacts... Not sure what 8 core would be used for. Is it just good practice to double-up on the power? I can't see any of my cable runs being over 10m and I'm going with one keypad.
james.wilson Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Just use 6 core everywhere. No need to double up on power on short runs. You can never have too many spare cables. SoupDragon Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 It did come down to a vote on the keypad design! More zones but 7-10 are shared with the communicator outputs which is a shame. No retro-fitting Raspberry pi's
