RC944 Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 ok well on the basis of that, rightly or wrongly, i have now reached out only to NSI contractors!
Oxo Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 As I said nothing wrong with SSAIB. You always get competition between two groups. We all fit the same stuff and work virtually to the same standards.

Oxo Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 oXo i do like the little bit of back tracking mate, you makes me larf mate!!!!! Oasis Nah m8, said the same all along. Just don`t want to have a few complain. Hence I always give both, however I knew the direction this was taking Bet you cannot do this
Ronnie Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 It's almost the same as us (an SSAIB firm) quoting a Grade3C system for a computer parts warehouse with circa £1mil worth of stock and another local NSI Gold firm quoting a Grade 2B. Or another local NSI Gold firm installing a powermax and not understanding how to wire an external SAB so just not bothering. Or like another local NSI Gold firm installing JB's on the outside wall of a pub to add extra circuits and if that wasn't bad enough it wasn't even tampered. But you're right, SSAIB are second best. My advice would be to get 3 quotes from small local firms and go with whoever you feel the most comfortable with, personally I think the presentation of the quote/spec tells a huge story.
Oxo Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Told you it would happen. Ronnie, put the toys back. He was told to get 3 quotes from the start, Why hardwire a SAB to a Powermax, although have done so on a few occasions. And your correct its not difficult. But that is the point is it not of being wireless. ( I was told to, so I did). I think we could spend all day with horror stories, bet I have more
