hi I am replacing an external sounder at the front of my house with a honeywell Ag6. I would also like to mount an additional Ag6 to the rear of my house. Is it as simple as connecting cable to the terminals of sounder at front of property and running cable through the loft to the rear sounder terminals

Or is having 2 sounders overkill?

Two are fine, your issue is power consumption. Two AG6`s draw 700MA. That leaves probably 300 to play with and will not be sufficient for an average system. ( I like a lot of reserve power) The trick is to use one in SCB mode and one in SAB mode,

All in the instructions,

Basicaly the panel drives one sounder and the internal battery drives the other, You get a slight decrease in ouptut (Sound level) but nothing to worry about.

SCB mode on the rear one.

Tamper is in series other connections will be parallel, to give you an idea.

Without looking at the manual I would hazard a guess at a tamper not made or eng hold off mode, usually one of them.

Are all the tampers secure, although the leds would not light if they were not.

Have you fitted the battery link?

Is the tamper return working?

Wired on a short link says to me the back tamper is not closed.

If your really stuck 0345 660533 is their number.
