Couger Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 well from my experience and im surprised mel support hasnt already told you, the 2.4ghz units are prone to picking up interference from mobile networks, household wireless routers and im sure alot of other stuff that operates on that band your best bet is the better 4.8ghz models which dont get affected and also have selectable channels, the cheaper 1.3ghz units can only be used once per site we have a large site down here with a mutiple units and in the end the 2.4's were replaced with 4.8s as they picked up electomagnetic interference from the locos in the train depo changed to 4.8's and all fine plus the fact the picture was poor compared to other 4.8's that were already there
