alterEGO Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 You suggested that SSAIB, NSI Silver and NSI Gold all issue certificates to a different standard did you not? If taking over an nsi gold system i can assume the cert is in place. If silver or ssaib i need to recert. Id of thought you would need to recert to ssaib if taking an nsi system of either rating?
Cubit Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 No NSI Yes Yes So you're happy with doing their bidding for them? Something very fcked up with this industry.
james.wilson Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I didnt no. What i was stating is that if i take over a gold system i can assume the cert is in place. I cant however assume that for other cert approvals that it is. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Wyatthaplo Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 wyhat you need to understand that this info should be known by you and your firm, especially as you have a gold badge. but not being the boss is irrelevant if you are making the day to day decisions. you should know this info. if not then your gold badge should be removed. however i can see you want to learn, but you shouldnt be learning on tsi as gold you should know. can you see that? Thats a fair point. Bit of advise. Dont push too much or you`ll be on the scrapheap b4 you know it. Sounds like some good advice. james.wilson Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 So you're happy with doing their bidding for them? I wouldnt call it their bidding. Id always want to be ahead of their expectations Something very fcked up with this industry. Id agree its a mess, an end user has 3 different badges to choose from. That imo is a joke securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.

That imo is a joke The Inspectorates are run on double standards and are akin to the tail wagging the dog. Nothing wrong with multiple Inspectorates - you have them for ISO (as an example). The problem is the rationale behind them. They need a serious income stream, they couldn't give a stuff about your, or anyone else's company as long as they get their income. Didn't i read somewhere that NSI are looking to branch out into Networking/Data infrastructure? Muppets, like they'd know anything about that.
