Oxo Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 There are 3 fuses. QB 1 Amp QB 0.5 Amp QB 0.5 Amp Do get the correct ones. And isolate the mains when delving into the panel.
rob897 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 ok got the fuse in everything seem to be back up and running, although a manager reset is required. and also is there a way to rename the zone? thanks
Lwillis Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Renaming the zone is a engineer function only . We cannot provide codes or manuals.
rob897 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 anywhere can i get one, I no longer have a contract with the installer, so is it now deemed my property?
Scotmod Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 It'll be programmed with the previous companys codes. There are manuals on google but they only contain default codes and won't tell you how to default it. You can either ask for their code to do it yourself or pay for a firm to do it for you, you may find some one local to do it on the cheap. It may be your property but you'll still have to go in to your pocket to get it defaulted.
reidy Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 but there are certain things we cannot advise about for obvious security reasons. After all, your system wouldn't be very secure if we told everyone how to default it, or issued engineer/installer manuals to everyone that asked. So in light of this please do not ask for such things as they will not be given. Hey Ho, Lets Go
rob897 Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 It may be your property but you'll still have to go in to your pocket to get it defaulted. Guess so, So that will be why it is not sending SMS Texts when we tested it some time ago?. My assumption was the SMS was a standard in the alarm system and the company monitoring was an optional extra. Am i wrong?
Oxo Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 It is an option, one not too reliable. Perhaps the older SMS centre number was used, now defunct. Or it has lost some programming/phone line................ Again you need the manual. Or a site visit.
james.wilson Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Don't use the sms in the galaxy. It is very very very unreliable securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Oxo Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 It is an option, one not too reliable. A dialler would be the next best thing to fit, then go for monitoring,
