sixwheeledbeast Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Although put one on a Virgin line not long ago and all worked well. ADSL filter, line in, line out and to phone/laptop. Shouldn't need a DSL filter on Virgin unless it's not in a Cable Area.
PSE Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I had it plenty of times on the older SD1, only working on DTMF rather than pulse
Oxo Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Still they are a nice unit, just wish the SD3 was a little cheaper.
PSE Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Yes, they are a little highly priced still. Very reliable though I must say, But I have only used aboout a dozen of the SD3. All are still running just fine to this day. I have looked at the V2GSM unit, But its Pyronix so wont be using that rubbish.
sjsturner Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I thought that about the v2gsm until i Got lumbered with one and thought it was great.very versitile dialler but still like the sd1.
accyeng_dave Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 what line voltage did you have? had a csl cs2300 do same problem on virgin line and found it running out on a line that had 38v on - you can hear the tone and dial out, didnt show line fail but just failed to signal ARC. had to disable pstn in end.
rs1800 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Hi D4v3y_S Did you solve this? If so can you let me know thanks
Oxo Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Had 38vdc also but worked fine. Was htis ever solved?
