Lwillis Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 I've tried connecting locally with a laptop both with and without the customers router and its seemed to be okay . It's purely when using the iPhone app it seems to overload. The app works fine with other DVRs of same model . Might be the dvr at fault just seems strange how its only when using the app - maybe something to do with the port it's using . Now that's got me thinking...
PeterJames Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Cant be ports it sounds like a power problem the cpu is under more load as cougar says see what the psu is doing when the dvr is crashing
Couger Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 can you default dvr settings to eliminate a config issue
james.wilson Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 even ports etc shouldnt cause an issue. Can you try using the app local. But my guess is DVR. Id doubt its psu overload as id guess workload would be higher on other things than an iphone connection. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
