bsbsys Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Hi Members Please can i ask for your assistance, it is my first time i have installed this new 9651PD model, i have installed several 9651, 9751 panels but on this new model i cant seem to activate the Panic buttons which are directly connected to the Keypads (2) Usually there is a option to activate them in the old models but this new model doesnt mention much and i have noticed the new manual is shorter. Software V 6.00.10 Any help would be appreciated Thanks
antinode Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Not 100% sure but worth a shot... Do you not have to enable the keypad PA buttons 1 and 3 to enable the hardwired terminals on the RKP? Worth a try! Trade Member
matthew.brough Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I thought keypad pa's had been banned and that they had to be separate pa buttons these days? www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
norman Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 depends if it has a URN... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
antinode Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Can't see an issue with audible only to be honest. A few panels still have the option... Risco, Scanny, Galaxy G2 all have keypad PA available. Trade Member
james.wilson Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I wonder if the PD part ref means its not an option on that variant? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
bsbsys Posted December 20, 2012 Author Posted December 20, 2012 Hi Antinode, that's exactly what I checked usually you can activate them via cmd 87 but this new model doesn't have that cmd or any literature on the PD or have I missed something? I don't think its been banned surely they would have removed the EXT Panic terminals on the keypads? there is this HUA attribute on zones which I believe has replaced the Panic which is on the older models..
james.wilson Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 oh im sorry i assumed wrongly you meant 2 key pa on the keypad. Nowt wrong with an external DP PA in current regs. IS it now exposed as a zone? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
bsbsys Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 Nope I have left it as it is directly wired into the keypads
Oxo Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Prog it as a Technical zone, see what happens. A 9752 caught me out last week.
