james.wilson Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 i dont want to do that as we have no control over who has access to the data. Thats why we have own servers in various locations. 3 in different data centres. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Joe Harris Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 No shock to hear about the forum approach, i've lost count of the times I have tried to educate them on how to handle PR through public access forums etc to avail. When you get back up and running with it give me a shout and I will see if I can figure out the problem or help with getting it on a funcitonal version.

Joe Harris Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Looking good - It amazes me that some people are happy with plain old vanilla TV when so much more is possible.
Lwillis Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 That looks nice might have to look up how to set that up myself . Currently fumbling about with iTunes and team viewer to watch stuff on my tv from pc
PeterJames Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Looking good - It amazes me that some people are happy with plain old vanilla TV when so much more is possible. How do I get this "vanilla tv" its not on my channel list? James is that the Myth box in action?
SoupDragon Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 My main server in the data centre failedtyan.JPG This was running xen on a 9650se (which is now dead and awaiting repair) If you remeber tsi went down a few weeks ago and i had to use backup systems to run it on. This bit of kit is all enterprise stuff, tyan mobo, seagate es2 drives (x8) on the failed card. What chassis is that James? Also how come webway is running on Gentoo and not Ubuntu?
james.wilson Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 My home myth master is a i5 CPU with 6 tb of storage on a passive cooled accelerator, to keep the tv side quiet. No idea on the gentoo or Ubuntu argument. My box runs centos if that helps? securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
