PSE
BT Business hubs, 2700 & 2701 work seamless with port forwarding for DVR'sHowever you will find it requires 2 ports forwarding, Port 80 by default and another.Dont ever use port 80 for the TCP connection, Always change it. We use 8000 as standardPort 80 is commonly blocked as pointed out by others. From memory, I think Avtech are usually 5000 or 5500. This will also need forwarding in the routerHave you checked if your port is open can be seen externally ? Check it here www.canyouseeme.org Regards

chalky
Try putting the ip address in the dmz of the router that will send all ports to the ip address if it works you can probably say it's port settings if it doesn't it will be something else. TVX systems what a good idea by the time the picture had downloaded the intruder would have been long gone.SFE.Solutions security systems

Another good link saved to the favourites, Not seen this one before, Thanks Useful page that have some karma I have used this for years and use it to verify each site I configure, for all CCTV & Access Its as basic as can be to be honest with a single test of a port number, But as you already know the port number youre working with, Simply enter it and wait 3 seconds for a return.
