james.wilson Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Blinky have a look at series double pole wiring. You should be able to find that on a search here. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Oxo Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 If you have two spare zones use the intrernal reed and an external contact, that way no "complicated" well for you wiring. In this configuration you use two zones.
blinkysiren Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 Thanks for the help its up and working with wired contacts and reed activation this is now protecting two French doors from one unit as I only had one spare zone on the panel I knew that I had to wire the yellow and blue wires into the tamper terminal and the red and black into the alarm terminal, however with the red and black I was getting a tamper alarm until I switched them around all working Many thanks for your help
