sjsturner Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Im looking for opinions on the following. I have a new I/A to be policed. I have double leaf doors with one side bolted shut. Should the bolted door cont be entry zone or normal alarm. Im unsure as technically this door is on the entry route so shouldnt get confirmed alarm. But it is internally bolted shut so i wondered if it would be acceptable to set up as normal alarm zone. Any thoughts?
sjsturner Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Thats the response i expect. I think its a shame tho as its a bolted door the customer is unlikely to be opening both doors and then timing out! But i understand the entry route restriction
goncall Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 it maybe a bolted door as long as it has been rebolted after being used ,if not ,then its an insecure door, both doors same zone for me

sjsturner Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 Cant wire them on same zone without doing it double pole as its a m series panel. Two alarm shunt resistors equal tamper! Stupid mistake from menvier. But will just have to have it on entry zone. Thanks for your thoughts
Oxo Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Pretty sure if you use selectable resistive contacts you can use two on one circuit
goncall Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 you cant wire 2 contacts on the same zone, dont use menvier alot now but that cant be right..is it not the 3rd wire from the moasic days
Oxo Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Two fsl on same zone, Old diagram but I can dig out a new one if you like
sjsturner Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 I did clarify with cooper on this cus it was doing my head in! They said it couldent be done correctly, but the ts worked fine like it. ox
