Do you mean uploading the PDF Ronnie? The idea is that then forms the contract template.

O must admit when we used to use Yell they had what seemed to be a much more simple idea.

We do ours via a webpage the customer electonicaly accepts quotation contract and pays deposit all in one. I just email out the quote and a link to accept job done. The program even works out the vat and adds it to the deposit along with options and fobs. Been using it about six months now and have ironed out all the bugs.

The developer may well be interested it developing for others for a small fee

Can you show a few screen shots?

How does this work with maintence terms & contract lengths etc?

Its a little tricky to show the whole thing as the page is quite big but Ive attached the front page that we fill in the customer gets a different page with only the options we fill in they can change names emails etc they choose which options and how many fobs the deposit is then recalculated, they then choose how to pay CC Bacs ect once payment is cleared we call them with a date teh T&Cs are on the quotepost-28923-0-87628900-1359222746_thumb.jpost-28923-0-07049300-1359222763_thumb.jpost-28923-0-02170700-1359222777_thumb.j

The above is not what the customer gets

We can merge the acceptance, I dont use AM for quoting etc I already had a fairly comprehensive program for quotes and stock and stuff, so it suited me to do it the way I did.

I think you are right AM should have something similar by now, but I think this industry forgets about the internet all the time

Ronnie we do our quotes on AM problem is our customers ask us to email quotes but the contract needs signing. We have just integrated our maintenance contract into the email. Now we use AM to do the quote and it will now send an electronic SDP and maintenance contract where the costs are fed from the DB. The customer gets the whole package and is prompted to sign the contract on screen by mouse, touch screen or typing in the requested fields. I doesn't matter the customer accept and send covers the legals.

all they do then is reply and we get all of the compleated docs directly into the correspondance section of AM which moves the job from quotes to Contract.

Customers!

We input the costings ourselves, if its domestics it will work out the vat and add it to the deposit. if its commercial it doesnt. There are drop downs for digi RedCare etc with the different grades. There is an admin section so we can change the static prices (If redcare puts the price up etc) and we write in the figure for maintenance
