jamez79
Hi, Sorry for posting two questions in such a shirt space of time. Alarm, texecom veritas excel. Is it possible to install an additional remote keypad in the garage and have the garage door contact as an additional entry point? Ideally I would like to be able to open the garage door and turn the alarm off so i can put my bike away without having to go in the house first to turn the alarm off. Is it just a case of wiring the garage door contact into zone 1 along with the front door? I would still need the front door as the main entry/exit as I don't always go in the garage when leaving the house. Thanks James

Lwillis
Don't connect the garage and front door in parallel as it would mean both doors would have to be opened before the zone would activate . Or use a different zone and program as final - providing you have the eng information ( which we cannot supply here )
