Oxo Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Ditto not the best but gets the job done. As you say, I see no point anymore in the most expensive (Do miss my Bosch 24V SDS and drill though) tools anymore. Too many light fingered cnuts out there, at one company it was the staff. *******.
fozzies Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 So the instructions with mine explained the technology and skirted how to use it, inferring to experiment with it. So far i have found that having my lad keep his finger on the unused crocodile clip, or clipping it to an earth, makes it boom throigh the cable. Anyone else found any wierd but useful ways to use theirs, excluding the obvious sexually orientated ones?
james.wilson Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 obvious? sounds like you need a new thread. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Ronnie Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 So or clipping it to an earth, makes it boom throigh the cable. clipping to earth has a huge positive impact on the tone at distance..
Oxo Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Mine works fine 10 floors down when tracking, so never saw the need , but noted if I have to trace 5000 mts out
goncall Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 they give you a rough idea of which cable is which, but you still need a meter to confirm your on the right cable
Oxo Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 No you don`t. Not if you know how to use it correctly. But you do need the meter to take the readings after
Ronnie Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 they give you a rough idea of which cable is which, but you still need a meter to confirm your on the right cable you're using a **** toner then mate..
