Id say you could have an overload when in alarm Do engineers have them these days?! According to Titan, I have a DGP that's got 800v on it and drawing a 45a current. Surprising how high performance that CQR 8 core actually is as its not even warm. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/

Gavin Kay Posted February 10, 2013 Author Posted February 10, 2013 There are no hardwired zones so i guess they wouldn't draw any from the main panel psu. The expander is actually on board, the image in my first post is everything except the remote keypad and bellbox. I have run it with just one zone on before, no change. When i say go into alarm it shows the exp 1 tamper then the internal sounder on the rkp goes off. I will check with power with a meter when i get home.

Gavin Kay Posted February 10, 2013 Author Posted February 10, 2013 No we lick the cable ends to measure the voltage. That sounds like one of our 'engineers' we had work for us - lick finger and place into consumer unit. Afro hairstyle=live.Forgot to add, the power comes from a surge protected fused spur. Also what type of bell, its not one of those old solonoid things is it Bell is a texecom odyssey 4, just not wired in yet.... No tamper reported on this though.
