Oxo Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 97K and I`ll use the train to get to and from the office! And Tesco tried to knock down the 1920`s HOOVER building in West London when they bought the land. We stopped them and the architecture is still there, albeit with a Tesco store behind. Nothing like a good petition for valued buildings.
MrHappy Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Flatten hoover & the less tax the government gets the better Mr Veritas God
Oxo Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Why "flatten" the building? Do you not respect or cherish our heritage in architecture? I certainly do. It is a marvelous sight to behold when stuck in the usual traffic jam on the A40 when going with the Muppets. Going 25 mins earlier or later gives you a free flowing bit of road. Too much of our heritage is being destroyed for "social housing" when the intended are not even contributing to the state. Let alone the incessant buying of land and heritage sites being sought after by the top 3 SUPERmarkets.
