Old test for RFI was dial the office when under the PIR.

Rfi is a bigger problem imo

used to be - nothing is really a problem now a days.

 

Apart from the steels in refurbs, the foil lined plasterboards.

Other insulation.

So RFI is AN issue for range and interference.

 

Induction is an issue, what ever you say and has been proven here.

I agree the OP`s situation is none of the above.

I know your knowledge and hopefully you know mine.

 

And next time, I won`t eat your toast.

2011 -2012 fitted 400 plus detectors (not even the expensive ones) number of FA`s - NIL

 

number of reported calls from install that year that were not user error  - 3 (two yend 21`s and a deltabell rear tamper).
