Brasilia Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Hi. We have just moved house, and have a Concept alarm fitted. I need to remove PIR sensor to decorate, but manual does not tell you how to. It depends how the systems been setup the tamper may not be active Just remove the lid , put your code in to stop the noise and refit and reset once your done. RichL Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Be aware that in taking the PIR down you may blow fuses, which could cause the outside sounder (if fitted) to sound and you may not be able to stop it. It may or may not cut off after 20 mins. If you are not confident then: 1 - don't try it at 9 o'clock at night 2 - get a firm in.
