sd6446
Hi, My Eurosec CPX has been working fine for a number of years but just recently I have returned home to find the strobe flashing on the Gardtec XS3D bell box, but the alarm has not been triggered. I have looked at the log on each occasion but there is nothing to suggest any fault. If I completely set then unset the system it then resets the strobe. My questions is, is this indicating a fault, or is this perhaps a faulty XS3D unit? Many thanks Steve
MrHappy
It will be the controls, device or cables Mr Veritas God
sd6446
Ok, I shall have to investigate further in that case. I was rather hoping that it may be indicating a specific fault, e.g low battery etc. Thanks.
Oxo
When was the battery last changed?
sd6446
The battery hasnt been replaced since installed, which is about 5 years. I've ordered a new one as I've seen a low battery warning twice now...

AlarmScot
You sure it not a strobe light you fitted?
skywalker
we had this once with an odyssey 3 bellbox. the strobe would randomly flash. turns out that there was a spiders web behind the pcb, and in the wet misty weather, condensation was forming on the web and shorting the 0V to the strb.
