mohjeg Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Hi there, Firstly, I've been lurking as a guest on here for a few weeks now as I've gone through installing a new Bosch Solution 16+ kit into my parent's place, and have found this forum to be an invaluable resource, so I can't thank you all enough. I have tested the whole system and it works fine, but for wiring of the Bosch ND100 GLT panic button which I have been able to force bypass through the 'Panic Alarm - Circuit Open' error. The control panel was pre-programmed at purchase for me, with this panic button configured to Zone 4. Seemingly, wiring the sirens, sensors and wireless receiver was the easy part because this has got me stumped. In the control panel I have free the ZN4 and GND terminals which I'll be wiring my four-core cable from. Can someone kindly offer me some guidance on how to wire the button itself? Linked below is the wiring diagram but when I tried this setup it still returned the error. I must confess, I don't entirely understand the diagram for this - sensors etc. were much clearer to me. http://resource.boschsecurity.com/documents/Installation_Guide_all_1423160075.pdf Thanks very much for any assistance in advance. I really do appreciate it. , Mo

mohjeg Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Thanks for your help and apologies for the delay in replying. I did include the resistors in the button itself but to no avail the error message continues to advise of an panic alarm open. I'm wondering now if I've got this wired back to the panel correctly. I'm trying to wire without tamper functionality. Evidently I've done something wrong but I've no idea what that is. Perhaps i've missed something glaringly obvious, but how should this be wired back to the panel? Thank you again.
