Oxo Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Youngest is , yep 16 on Friday. Never been to concert and loves metal ect. A friend just called me and cannot make Download 2013 at Donnington, pair of Arena tkts for Sat and Sun, Iron Maiden headline Sat ( We both like). Rammstein ( One of his faves) . A discounted rate, extremely discounted. Little fooker wants to go with his mates who are also going ( never knew this DOH). Know them and all good lads, so no worries ( Cadet unit) . Not bad for a first concert, going to spoil it for him when he goes to a smaller venue..............hehehehe. Anyway, decent pressie?
sjsturner Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Probably money dude. At that age i was never bought anything, just received money. Its all about the benjamins baby. Then he can buy his own coke and ho!
norman Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Nope, nothing says 'I can't be arsed' quite like money as a present. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
sjsturner Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Worked for me. Spent it on beer. Assuming hes already got laptop/iphone ect what else is there that kids want?
sixwheeledbeast Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 CBA going Download with day tickets. I saw how long the queue was to get in, last time. With camping you pretty much walk in. Yes you may have to walk from the other side of Donnington but I hate queue's. However, if you don't mind being there sharpish and waiting both mornings; the lineup looks good this year.
sjsturner Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Scooter? Or dont you want him on bikes just yet? Everyone loves freedom at that age!
sixwheeledbeast Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Scooter? Or dont you want him on bikes just yet? Everyone loves freedom at that age! Scooter! You must be kidding. I can't imagine Ox get one of them. You could pay for CBT and money towards a 50cc "bike".
