sixwheeledbeast Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Imagine a LEC as a RKP with no display or buttons (so basically only the two zones and output)
Oxo Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 LEC = two zones Node = 8 Zones RKP = 2 Zones onboard (Great Idea) All either DP or EOL (or ID with ID Panel)
Paul. Giles Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Not backward compatible? We have not used them for years, a medium Gold near us does and has done for years. Never liked the TS700 though, no reset pins. We used to use the 690 and 590. Yet to see the 2500 that everyone talks about, apparently it was as good if not better than the Galaxy? Really does make you wonder how such long established manufacturers get things so wrong so that loyal installers have to jump ship!? Would be interesting to see their sales figures, they probably base a slump on the "market" totally unaware it was due to whatever model not doing xyz!
matthew.brough Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 That could be said about most manufacturers including outside the security industry. They become great and 10 years later no longer hip. Blackberry being a good example. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
james.wilson Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 I think its different markets. My blackberry was the best work tool ive ever had. But was awful as a consumer device, ie web browsing and maps etc. But for work nothing touched it. I think they may have tried to compete with ios and android and lost its best feature, work. My lumia 920 is the 2nd best device i have had for work but still very good. securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
