Sounds good, I would get quotes from them all, also ask them to quote for the kits we do, works out more competitive amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom
Lwillis Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Hopefully well have the g2 for. Little while longer yet, if we don't have any other choice ill fit a flex but would have to have one on RSS first see if its stripped down. The g3's have a virtual rkp which can be handy
Paul. Giles Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Flex is basically a dimension, virtual keypad etc. In fact its a bit more advanced than the Dimension at the moment as it can/will support visual verification. We don't like it her though and from what i can gather they are not selling. Bored with talking to Honeywell now re. issues and suggestions. I think JW hit it on the head by saying they are doing a Scantronic!

I think JW hit it on the head by saying they are doing a Scantronic! That was the primary reason we moved away. They ignored the issues and didn't fix them. What did scantronic do? Never used their panels www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
Paul. Giles Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Well they were the panel of choice for Moderns and ADT etc. Then they brought out the Mosaic. We fitted a lot of 9000 series panels but working on them now is painful. Again it all comes back to the full test option, without it it basically renders a commercial panel useless in my opinion when trying to send signals.
