AdrianMealing Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Easier than omitting zones and better than switching outputs though? I presume the Prem 24 won't do it, couldn't find the option on one I took over a bit back. Old 24 yes correct won't do it, new Elite 24 will, I have logged a change to make it simpler and more intuitive. amealing@texe.com Head of Industry Affairs Visit Our Website Texecom

Paul. Giles Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Still not Menu 62 though! Too much messing about with programming. Galaxy: Full test? Yes Choose circuit Do you want a confirmed zone? Yes (choose additional circuit) or No Press ENT System Sets, then activate the chosen circuits at your leisure. No adjustment of any programming required
Ronnie Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Yes put two zones on engineer alarm attribute, change exit mode to instant, set system, only those two circuits now live for test purposes so there is an element of programming to do it.. are there plans to introduce an option similar to galaxy (have you seen this done)?
MrHappy Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Yes put two zones on engineer alarm attribute, change exit mode to instant, set system, only those two circuits now live for test purposesthen hope your engineering staff remember to change the exit method back so you don't have a day full of servicing to correct when the subscribers wish to go home. No adjustment of any programming required what he said. menu 21, menu 61 & menu 62 are probably the best menus in the galaxy and would be a huge addition to the premier. i know it does some similar stuff but it's just not as well implemented.
sixwheeledbeast Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Yes put two zones on engineer alarm attribute, change exit mode to instant, set system, only those two circuits now live for test purposes Well to explain more comprehensive for a virgin. You can set any amount of zones to Engineer Alarm but this will be armed while set by engineer. This could include the entry zone (so you don't have to remember to change ER back) Set the system by pressing Menu > Arming > and don't logoff. Before all of this make sure the engineer code isn't locked in setup users. Trigger Engineer Alarm sensors, silence, reset etc etc. If it's all setup correctly as above no editing of programming required. PS:- Example on one site I can use engineer alarm to set the CCTV by having no Engineer Alarm zones enabled, when the system arms this arms the Heitel. Document the Engineer Alarm zones correctly and it can be useful in many ways.
