Ts 900 Problem

Just wondering if any one knows if the TS 900 can do confirmation (2nd alarm) signals, I have downloaded the TS 790/900 manual and followed the instruction on enabling it but the panel just doesn't seem to trigger the output, I've tried to programming different communication pins and the panel outputs and clean relay but still failed.

I know the manual does both panels but am wondering if there is a difference between the 2 panels (which I suspect there is) or if the panel I have is faulty

cheers Brian

The only difference between the 790 and the 900 is the lack of node network.

Confirmed should be option 11, make sure you are programming "digi outputs" not "panel outputs".

Think it was TS700 that couldn't do Confirmed or Abort.

No fuses?

Yes I've programmed pins 5, 7 and 8 all as 11 but when you do the second zone it doesn't change over if I call it tamper or engineer ect. it will change status, I have done eng 1 option 1 for panel outputs and option 2 and then 3 and nothing seems to work so I'm thinking either the panel is faulty or it's a very early TS900

Thanks very much for your input

"ts 900" covers more than decade of panels ?

its very hazy but the early ones which supported a dc3 don't do 2nd intruder

Probably one of them Mr Happy as it does have the pins to plug a digicom on to, oh well will just need to swap the panel for a newer system

TS700 could do confirmed.

Latter TS900 defaulted with 2ND ALARM on output 8 on panel or digicom outputs. This is 011 command in the settings.

Have you altered its output state?

Just wondering if the polarites and wether latching or pulse is on.

Not got a manual?

Just sent you a TS900 manual, in your PM box.
