Oxo Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Thinking out aloud, Thats the code maximum on a 10 digit keypad. With a 4 dig code
james.wilson Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I must admit a thought the 10000 minimum was based on differs for keys, logical keys and mechanical. But it appears a code is classed as a logical key. I did raise this when we started using them and use a 5 or 6 digit code now. without a 0 there are only some 6 odd thousand combinations if using 4 digits securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount.
Oxo Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 That was my point. I recall somewhere in the dim past something about the 10000 being needed to pass some reg or another. Key differs are "different" and were lower with Chubb locks but Euro Cylinders and the like have upped this to a more acceptable level.
