That causes me so much hassle when we go to mr customer and tell him he needs to change perfectly working detectors to meet en. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
whizzer Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 the company i work for regularly get inspected by ssaib, also i believe its a must with insurers for grade 2 detection on systems. i may be wrong but thats the word from above.

The word from above is talking what i have between my legs. 4737 still perfectly acceptable. As for SSAIB inspections, they can only inspect to standard installed to, which if 4737 detectors perfectly fine. www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/
whizzer Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 not sure matthew but seems my butt is covered if they are grade 2 anyway !! on another matter i had an inspection the other week and when he inspected the roller shutter contact he pulled me up because i hadnt connected the tamper from the JB to the contact (inside the protected lead). i had connected a pair in the JB (4k7) but he insisted i use the loop inside the lead so the tamper runs all the way to the contact. the JB was tamper proof
